What a day! One of the best things about Australia is that even in the middle of winter, you can still hang on the beach in short sleeves and flip flops! Luckily for me, the weather was absolutely fabulous for my second stint at City 2 Surf.
City 2 Surf is a 14km "fun run" that begins in the middle of the city and ends at Bondi Beach. A record breaking 80,000 people entered this year, and among them was 15 brave young Barons who took on the race for the love of their favourite beer. I'd like to make it very clear that these fellows had no intention of actually running, rather they drank their way to the finish line. I would have loved to join them, however someone had to manage the corporate tent to make sure they were received with bravado at the end!
The day was a great success with beautiful beer flowing, enough yummy BBQ to feed an army and picture perfect weather. Check out the full album of photos here.
