I'm just back in Sydney after a whirlwind two weeks in the good ole' US of A! What a fantastic trip! I was lucky enough to spend time with family in Connecticut and friends in New York and L.A., which made for an amazing journey filled with love, laughs and food! There were definitely highlights... seeing my grown nieces and nephews, busting out my best moves on the LES, falling in Brooklyn and spending time (mostly eating) with one of my dearest friends in Cali.
Living on the other side of the world can be difficult at times, but it also makes me aware of how important family and friends are. I don't know how I got so fortunate, but I'll take it!
