The Move

The day after we returned from Palm Cove, Kendra and I were faced with the painful and tedious task of moving house. We thought, how hard could it be? After all, the new apartment was but a five minute walk up the street, and how much could we have possibly accumulated in six, short months? A LOT.

I really don't know where it all came from. We don't even own any actual furniture. But somehow we filled four truckloads full of stuff and spent 10 hours hauling back and forth, cleaning, packing, unpacking and organizing. It's been two weeks and the place is still in shambles, but I absolutely love it. There is still no living room furniture, and there probably won't be until I find and purchase the vintage burgundy Chesterfield I've been dreaming of, but I see it as a fun project full of potential.
