Mom is Here!

That's right, Deb has traveled all the way from Connecticut to see her two girls in Australia. It's been a very exciting time, starting with surprising Kendra with Mom's arrival on Friday. It was her 25th birthday and was she ever shocked. We all cried the happiest of tears and it was nothing short of amazing. It's been so fantastic having her around and even though I am working during the day, I love coming home and hanging out with her at night. We spent the weekend in Hunter Valley (the NSW equivalent to Sonoma) and this week Kendra has been taking her to see the sights. This weekend is Anzac Day, a very popular holiday here in Australia that is sure to induce much mischief from the O'Donnell girls. It's traditionally a day to honor the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps from World War I, but locally it's celebrated by getting absolutely smashed and gambling on a coin game called two-up. I'll be sure to report back on our antics!
